Hmmm, so it's the end of September already. Where has this year gone!?
The blog all about things I get up to in Wellington, New Zealand. Originally this blog was created to share my adventures with friends and family back home. Today it is an online space where I share things that are on my mind... and photographs and things along the way.

Rose Tinted Glasses and Illness
Okay, sorry in advance for today's topic. If you're squeamish you may want to skip today's post.
I'm still not 100% and so today, I talk about illness.

Rose Tinted Glasses: Washing and the joys of being sick with the flu!
So I took the pillow cases off my pillows today because I've been sick for the past 48 hours with a chesty cough (maybe the flu?) and as a result I just want to sleep - so much. I decided maybe I should change my bedding so I can help stop my bugs getting everywhere. Cleaning always seems like a good idea when I'm sick. I don't know why, it makes no sense really. Cleaning takes so much energy and effort!

2 days post birthday Rose Tinted Glasses
So you would think that turning 25, would make me older and wiser? Oh how wrong that idea is.
Today I was bullied over a comment I made online. I even suggested it may be insensitive (so I said so in my comment). Anyway, over the next 2 hours I was bombarded with rude responses, bullying tactics.
After my comment had been up no less than 5 hours, a friend messaged me suggesting I remove it.

Rose Tinted glasses, Parties and Birthdays
So it's official. I am older. Wiser? Stronger? Braver? More mature. Oh yes. All of those things!
Today I turned 25.
I'm quarter of a century old.
I now qualify for cheaper car insurance.
I can now also learn how to drive my parents left hand drive car! (I had no insurance until 25, to drive it).

So what? I am awesome. I have my rock moves. Rose tinted glasses.
So this week being my birthday week - hey if it's actually on Sunday, why not have some fun for the whole week? This week started with my usual work, and then some more when I was called to do some extra!

This post is probably going to sound a bit presumptuous, and I apologise in advance!

Rose glasses: busy life
Sometimes life is just too hectic and busy.
The past few days have been very hectic actually, even though I have been sleeping a lot. I have no idea why I have been sleeping for around ten or eleven hours each night.
I keep sleeping late. Bedtime is before midnight, and somehow I wake around 10 or 11am. Oops.
Cannot be great - but also know I'm healthier than ever. If a little lazy - I really should be exercising more!

Rose Tinted glasses and No Poo Technique.
Okay so in January or something like that this year... I do know it was months ago...
I came across No Poo on Pinterest.
Rose coloured glasses: thoughts
Just some thoughts about Rose Coloured Glasses, time and how the world goes around...
Pink Hair, Pink glasses?
Just a bit of a flashback of a memory in that title there. About a year ago I rocked some pink hair.
Might be able to find a photo...

Rose Tinted Glasses: A Psychic and Skeptics
This weekend Dan and I went along to the New Zealand Skeptics Conference held in Wellington. A two day conference with some amazing speakers. We met some awesome people in various fields, doing various jobs, and responding to the world in different ways.
Basically a bunch of "non-believers" in a room for a weekend to talk, discuss, debate and question things.

Tinted glasses
Today it's windy, it's cloudy... It's raining on my parade, dammit!
So I'm doing what any sane woman would: spending as many hours as possible in bed and thinking about Mental Health.

Rose Coloured Glasses: Music
Today I was at home on my day off listening to music from youtube. Naturally, I am a lyrics person listening to the songs I realised we hear what we want to from the songs.

Rose Tinted Glasses turning 25, things to do before I turn 25.
Quarter of a Century! Who would have thought it? Me, 25 years old.
Well not today, not quite yet. I have about 20 days until I turn 25 officially.
Here's a list of 25 things I'd like to do before turning 25.

September a month of looking out at the world from Rose Tinted Glasses
September already!
August (and the rest of the year) has just flown by!
This month I've decided to write about things which I've found online and been thinking about.
Today I have decided to talk about and think about things people do to change the skin they're in. Plastic surgery, piercings, tattoos, permanent and temporary 'fixes' for problems they seem to think they have.
But is it really a bunch of 'problems' these people have? Something created by society, nay the media? To make people think they're less than ideal? That they're not perfect? That they *need* help to maintain, get, and be *perfect*?
